The students on the EINA and UAB University Master's in Research in Art and Design completed their introduction to Taste Aesthetics, Edible Art and Food Design in a workshop on Gastrosophy, precariousness and city. The workshop was led by Lilian Weikert and Jaime Gastalver, who make up the LaPlasita collective from Seville, where they work on the intersection between architecture and gastronomy.

In the workshop, students worked on the concept of gastrosophy, seen as the theory of treatments based on food, and they explored practical research processes to discover the ways in which eating habits determine our own and other landscapes.
Also taking part were resident artists at Asimetries (Idensitat + Espai E /Fabra i Coats), who are conducting a research project into contemporary precariousness, to which the students on the EINA Master’s in Research have had access.
