Laia Torrents is a finalist in the 6th edition of the gaudeamusPROJECTA awards organised by the Official College of Graphic Design of Catalonia, with her Final Project of the Bachelor of Design WEZI, Identity and collaborative design.
WEZI is the result of the creation of the graphic identity of the Agrupament Escolta Wé-Ziza of Barcelona.
Through a collaborative design process with the young women who make up the Agrupament's Clan group, the individual and collective identity has been worked on to create the Cau's graphics. Through three workshops, they reflected on the Agrupament's identity and created a visual language that defines it. Finally, a kit was created to facilitate the possible future uses of the identity system.
The gaudeamusPROJECTA awards recognise and celebrate the academic excellence of end-of-degree projects from schools across Spain.
The presentation of the selected projects and this year's awards gala will take place at the Arxiu de la Corona de Aragón in Barcelona on 19 October.
