Laia Estruch

Laia Estruch at the Museo Reina Sofía

Laia Estruch, professor of the Bachelor of Desig at Eina and renowned Barcelona-based artist, has presented Hello Everyone at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.

The exhibition offers an overview of her artistic evolution from 2011 to the present, structured as a fragmentary archive featuring sculptures, sounds, moving images, graphic works, and visual scores.

Estruch has developed an artistic practice that explores the human voice as an essential material, combining sound and sculpture in spaces specifically designed for each project. Her work stands out for its interaction with the audience and its experimentation with corporeality and sound resonance.

With a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and studies at The Cooper Union in New York, Laia has exhibited in prestigious institutions such as the MNAC, the Joan Brossa Foundation, and the Joan Miró Foundation. This exhibition at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía reinforces her impact on contemporary art, offering a unique sensory experience.
