Jordi Català, professor of Infography at 4t curs of the Degree of Disseny, has participated as a judge) at the 18th edition of the European Newspaper Award (ENA), these awards credit the quality in the European press conference at all levels.
On this occasion, 200 diaries from more than 20 countries have been present at ENA, providing their best works in various categories (infographics, photography, cover, interior pages, etc.). The main awards of the European Newspaper Award are distinguished by the Millor Diari in four categories: national, local, weekly, and regional (this award was granted to Diari Ara in the last edition).
The final valuation will be announced the next 15th of November at 23.59h through the website of the entity and the organization’s Facebook page. The presentation of the awards will take place during the celebration of the European Newspaper Congress in May of 2017 at Vienna’s City Council.
Jordi Català has participated as the jury of this edition of the ENA together with the professionals of the institutions and institutions of the European Union: Theo Dersjant, Valentina Villegas, Marco Grieco, Katrin Nidzwetzki, Martin Huisman, Silvia Brenes, Walter Jensen, Alie Veenhuizen, MarianneBahl, Björn Heselius, Ivo Knahn, Søren Nyeland, Joachim Blum and Annette Milz.
This is the second occasion that Professor Jordi Català participates as a judge in the European Newspaper Award. He has been awarded himself collectively and individually in previous editions.
