Joan Morey, artist in residence at EINA

Joan Morey is the artist in residence at EINA (2020-2021). A group of students share and explore methodologies from his work, in a contextualised course for social isolation, contagion, curfew, perimeter confinement, social control of fear, new relationships between submission and power... themes that are also present in many of his works.

His work is developed at the intersection between subjectivity, sexuality, philosophy, theatre, cinema, and from artistic creation through performance, video, installations or graphic and sound works.

EINA's Artistic Residence is an experimental subject integrated in the curriculum of the Design Degree. Anna Dot, Javier Peñafiel, Alicia Kopf are other artists who have participated in previous editions.
