The graduate design students, Barbara Castillo and Pietro Alberti have been awarded a honourable mention at the Glassberries International Design Awards organised by BA Vidr, with a project that was developed at EINA within the subject: Design for Packaging and Labels which is taught by Jon Marín.
Bárbara Castillo and Pietro Alberti’s proposal was developed with the main objective of creating interaction between the bottle’s cap and the liquid inside. The cap is specially designed for this purpose, contains a small amount of food dye that is released the first time the bottle is opened. This coloured liquid then fuses with the gin creating a totally new experience.
