"Habeas Corpus" is a sample of several works by María Helguera made with prints on various media (primarily paper and fabric). In the creation of these prints, various techniques come into play (from painting and screen printing to engraving) and take the form of a painting, stamp, book, or projection. The pieces encompass various times throughout the artist's career, although it is true that most of them are from the late 90s. María Helguera gave classes at EINA, from the 1983-1984 academic year until 2004-2005, in subjects such as Drawing, Paper Techniques, Construction, Composition Workshop, Painting Workshop, and Composition.
