a. is an exhibition showcasing the results emerging from the in-development research by students of the subject Practice and Territories II of the University Master in Research in Art and Design (MURAD).

Each one of the projects shown in a. are just the tip of the iceberg of a few more in-depth Research. They are the attempt, always set out to failure, representing the work load of a year course in just a few square meters. However, the hermeneutics of the gesture which we encounter, in translating from the word to the sensible experience and from the experience to the word, is the attempt to put margins on the page you are writing and somehow guessing what is and for what is it that you are investigating. Knowing which are the most relevant parts, assembling them in front of a wall, standing at a short distance to see the drawing they conform, guessing which will be the next step forward.

Investigations by María Alcaide, Florence Biberont, Laura Casasses, Guillem Celada, Natália Cornejo, Pau de Riba, Guim Espelt, Zhang Li, Floriane Masse, Clara Meunier, Alexia Raynaud, Juan S. Cáceres, Rodrigo Sañudo, Alberto Varela and César Zabala
