Exhibition "Correa & Milá, in perspective"

EINA collaborates with the exhibition "Correa & Milá, in perspective", which opens next 16th March at 6.30 pm at the Col·legi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC), with the cession of exhibition material (photographs and documents related to the activities they carried out at the centre).

2024 marks the centenary of the birth of Federico Correa (Barcelona, 1924-2020) and Alfonso Milá (Barcelona, 1924-2009), one of the most influential pairs of Barcelona architects of the second half of the 20th century. Federico Correa was a co-founder of EINA and a professor with a long career at ETSAB and EINA. Alfonso Milá, for his part, collaborated with the school with occasional events.

The exhibition, organised by the Centre Obert d'Arquitectura, vindicates the legacy of the two masters, the timelessness of many of their contributions both in the field of architecture and design, making a reading of their work linked to the society in which they developed it. At the same time, it allows us to discover unpublished material thanks to the more than 600 files that the Historical Archive of the Architects' Association of Catalonia has held since 2006.

The exhibition "Correa & Milá, in perspective" will open on 16 March with a round table discussion with Miguel Milá + Oscar Tusquets and David Ferrer + Elías Torres, moderated by the curators Aureli Mora and Omar Ornaque, in the Mirador hall, followed by a visit to the exhibition, which will remain open until 28 May.
