The exhibition displays works of the artist, who was co-founder, president and director of EINA and will remain open until July 17th. Among other pieces, it will showcase titles such as La Danse, that is part of the Art Collection of the Fundació EINA.
"Ràfols-Casamada (Barcelona, 1923-2009) is a key figure in the historiography of Catalan art, here portraying his vindication of the painting-painting; that is, the matter being elevated as an art object in itself. "Painting" includes, along with excerpts from his personal diary, about 40 works through which the artist converses with reality through the silence of form and color."
