Estados de latencia

Estados de latencia: Art as a Process of Transformation

The exhibition Estados de latencia: Propiedades en procesos de transformación (States of Latency: Properties in Processes of Transformation) brings together works developed by students from Eina’s University Master’s Degree in Research in Art and Design (MURAD), in a showcase focused on creative processes and contemporary artistic research methodologies. The opening event will take place on 27 May at 6 pm at Espai 2 Àngels Barcelona (Carrer dels Àngels, 16).

The exhibition features more than forty international participants, offering an insight into the research processes developed throughout the master’s programme, with a particular focus on artistic creation as a space for experimentation and critical thinking. The exhibited works bring together methodologies, practices and reflections shaped over the academic year, in a proposal that highlights the creative process as an essential part of the artwork itself.

Under the concept of “latency”, the projects explore states of transformation linked to materials, ideas and personal experiences. Together, the works demonstrate how art and design can generate new languages and forms of knowledge through contemporary research practices.

The exhibition is open to all audiences until 28 May.
