The project "Espai Plataforma" will be presented on 14 January; an initiative that seeks to transfer the necessary knowledge and guidance to the participating companies to face the deep transformation that the spaces designed for communities will suffer during the next years. This project has been promoted by Clúster Disseny and Barcelona Centre de Disseny, together with Habitat Cluster Barcelona and developed by a team of researchers from EINA.
The project, aimed at professionals in the contract sector, whether manufacturing products or offering services and the fields of retail, hospitality, welfare or workplace; gives answers to questions about how space can be rethought for communities as a habitat; if we are adapted to the economy of the subscription of products such as home furnishings; how digital nomadism will affect us in the use of materials that promote creativity or if we are prepared to relate to our environment through interactions from the material, sensors or data.
During the session, Elena Bartomeu, Raúl Oliva (main researchers of the project), Oriol Ventura, Dolors Soriano and David Steegmann will present the project in detail, focusing on the objective of the project, its phases, schedule and conditions for participation.
