Steegmann and Pibernat have been invited given the allegation for the preservation of the Patrimony of Commercial Interiors, presented to the Barcelona City Hall during last May; a text for consideration by the Research Group in History and Studies in Design (GRHED), which includes other members and professors of EINA such as Isabel Campi, Sara Coscarelli, Albert Crispi, Enric Mas, Alex Mitrani, Artur Muñoz, Jordi Peraferrer, Mar Saiz, Sílvia Santaeugènia and Jeffrey Swartz.
The conversation has given the opportunity to speak on the overall value of design and also on the contribution that Universities such as EINA –specifically through rigorous research- are offering to both future designers and society in general.
