The 22nd of November of 1966 the professors involved in Fundació EINA met in Xavier Miserachs' studio, in what would be their first meeting.
The agenda of the meeting was to define the purpose of the school. It was very important to establish the type of school, as well as a study plan. This study plan, in which the humanistic base was very important.

The school was defined as an independent and free school, from the beginning, their goal was to train professionals at university level in the field of industrial and interior and graphic design, in two common courses, specialty course and a thesis course. Albert Rafols, Cirici Pep Alemany, Federico Correa, Yves Zimmerman, Francesc Tous, Lluís Cantallops and Xavier Roman Gubern Miserachs would define the study plan of the school
EINA School of Arts and Environmental Design (between 1966 and 1967).
Slides of Casa Manuel Dolcet, EINA's first headquarters, were projected in the meeting. The topic was the conditioning of the space, managed by Juan Antonio White and Blue Team 5.
The legal issues would be commissioned by Roman Gubern was in charge of the legal issues and Pilar Mangrané of the economic study.
