"24hour Printin People" is the result of an intensive printjam led by the illustrator Miguel Bustos that took place on the 22 and ended on the 23 April to coincide with the artists book fair PRINT.ed#2 at EINA Espai Barra de Ferro. The printjam was set up to explore a way of learning and sharing techniques, experience and ideas. The participants were students and staff from EINA and illustrators from Barcelona and Canterbury Book Arts (University of the Creative Arts). The pages correspond to the hours on the clock, starting as the printjam began at 8pm and ending 24 hours later. Each artist responded to the hour allocated by chance and the pages were drawn, developed and printed within the 24 hours in a collaborative process of non-stop printing.
A fly on the wall view was streamed online and is now available in an edited version here
