On the centenary of the birth of Alexandre Cirici Pellicer (1914-1983), on Thursday, October 23rd, at 12pm, EINA wants to honor the art critic, teacher and man of intellectual commitment who was one of the founders of the school (and who gave it its name). An instrumental figure in the cultural history of our country, he supported the design discipline as a form of art on its own. Reminiscing the originality and creative freedom manifested during the birth of EINA in 1967, the University has reunited the group of young artists who in those years attracted the attention of Cirici and who became their main defender. Jordi Gali, Silvia Gubern, Angel Jove, Evru (former Albert Porta) and Antoni Llena will all present artistic interventions specially thought for this unique occasion.
