Celebrated from February 7th to 9th the urban Barcelona Festival LlumBCN took place this weekend. EINA’s participating project was led by professor Josep Aregall, through the course on illumination projects -lamp design-, Projectes 2 with the support of 3rd year students of the Design Degree: Tania Alvarez Bravo, Ester Casademont Costa, Carles Sanchez Marcos and Oriol Tur Fuentes.
“Among the decaying architecture of old abandoned gardens, a pond has been formed. The greens submerged, the water thickening cloud, strangles life in the den of aquatic animals. Suddenly, in the darkness of the night, a few drops of rain burst to the surface: the light of invisible stars."
"The Lost Pond" is primarily a conceptual project, a provocation of the senses emulating a viscose and plastic surface that gives rise to imagination, rather than simple observation.
