The great drawing festival of the city Barcelona Dibuixa, formerly known as Big Draw, will take place on Sunday 20 October in four districts (Ciutat Vella, Sant Andreu, Sant Martí and Sants-Montjuïc).
Once again, EINA joins this initiative, organised by the Museu Picasso and the Institut de Cultura of Barcelona City Council, with the workshop "From drawing to story", given by Loreto Sepúlveda and Sofía Sánchez, alumni of the Postgraduate Diploma in creative illustration and visual communication techniques and of the Master's Degree in Research in Art and Design respectively.
The workshop is a proposal to encourage the natural narrative capacity of the human being through drawing as an instinctive tool for transmission, as a generator and facilitator of stories.
In "From drawing to story", rapid drawing will be exercised, collective creation will be practiced, the narrative capacities of the drawing itself will be expanded, the relationship of ideas and storytelling will be exercised and the participants will also discover their own capacities for the construction of fictions.
In Barcelona Dibuixa will also participate artists linked to EINA such as Jordi Duró, professor of the Degree in Design and the Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration.
