Eina is taking part in a new edition of Barcelona Dibuixa, a festival organised by the Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB), with Draw Your Favourite Pet, a workshop led by illustrator Linda Mantovani, taking place at Bosc on Sunday 18 October, from 10 am to 2 pm.
A graduate of the Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques, Linda Mantovani proposes an activity open to children, families and people of all ages, inviting participants to experiment with drawing through play, observation and imagination.
How would you draw your pet? And what if you could invent a new one? Using a range of materials and simple techniques, each participant will be able to create their own creature and discover different ways of depicting animals.
The workshop focuses on the creative process: observing, imagining, experimenting and transforming. A shared experience designed to encourage curiosity, imagination and personal expression through drawing.

Barcelona Dibuixa 2026, taking place on 17 and 18 October, features several former students linked to Eina’s illustration training programmes among its workshop leaders. They include Glòria Vives, with the workshop Entre els peus i la terra; Daniel Pagans, who is taking part in Dibuixa el MNAC, dibuixa Montjuïc; Gemma Fontanals, with Hi ha carrers que ho tenen tot; and Clara Sáez, with Fòssils de records.
Their participation highlights the continuity between illustration training and professional practice at a festival that this year offers more than forty creative activities at cultural venues across Barcelona.
