Octavi Rofes, professor of the Bachelor of Design and the Master's Degree in Research in Art and Design, presented his book 'Design without Project', published in Italian and English by Corraini Edizioni, on 29 March at La Galeria Nazionalle in Rome.
The presentation was given by Cristiana Collu, director of La Galeria, followed by a conversation between the author and the designer Martí Guixé, who was joined by the audience.
During the debate, the most controversial aspects of the book were discussed, such as the consequences derived from the univocal identification of design and project, the potential of forms of relationship other than the project, and the repercussions of understanding design beyond the project in training and professional practice.
