The design of the bars access to the passage Mallofré located in Barcelona's Sarrià district, has been the engine of student work resulting from the Visual Arts Workshop subject, of 3rd year students at EINA. Exhibition can be seen from April 20th to May 7th, 2015, at the Cultural Center Orlandai House Piquet 23 James Street, Barcelona.
Understanding the landscape as a physical atmosphere through light or sound, as a way, -as well as a temporary circumstance, linked to historical events and agents that are present in a territory with a particular character, in this case the neighborhood of Sarria, has been the starting point for the design of gate accesses to the Mallofré passage . Thus, these elements of urban design are considered in dialogue with space, time and the specific environment.
The set of the exhibited works are the result of design processes which have questioned issues such as the boundary condition between the public and private space, domesticity, movement, light sequences, the garden and the street, or local imagery, among others.
