On November 7th we’ll have a Coffee with Irene Sierra, founder OF Sila and former student of EINA, while she talks about her experience entitled Tracing your own path.
Irene Serra studied Graphic Design at EINA. She joined the studio of the illustrator Phillip Stanton. One year later she moved to London to study Illustration at the London College of Communication.
When she returned to Barcelona she developed several design and illustration projects in advertising agencies, while she attended a graduate in creative illustration and visual communication techniques at EINA. Then, she worked at Camper for four years, developing different tasks as a fashion illustrator, managing partnerships with schools of Art and Design, searching for new talents and trends analyst.
She started her own brand of bags and accessories Sila in 2013, from where she continues to work with different disciplines, trademarks and design studios. She also is the coordinator of a Graduate in Fashion at IED, where she also is a professor in Project Communication. She still works in these fields in parallel with other projects related to graphic design and fashion.
Coffee with... is a series of talks under the Master’s in Graphic Design at EINA, where from different professional perspectives, topics related to the field of graphic design will be discussed. These are monthly meetings, only of 1h of duration, open to the public.
