Clara Faner Cortés and Marta Hernández Sevillano, recent graduates of EINA's Design Degree, are participating in the Campus Blanc! section of the Blanc Festival dedicated to final projects, which will take place on Friday 30 October in online format and with free access through the event's website

Clara and Marta will present their Final Degree Project (FDP), completed last year: La Badalona, històries en femení (La Badalona, women’s stories), and Periferias (Peripheries), respectively.

La Badalona, històries en femení, by Clara Faner, is the result of a process of collaboration with a group of 15 immigrant women from different countries, members of the Fundació Salut Alta de Badalona where they receive training in the language as well as accompaniment and support, and who in turn share the same context: the neighbourhoods of La Salut and the surroundings of Badalona. This is a practical project in which design is presented as a mediating tool in search of changes and reactions, since a joint process of research and dynamics has been carried out to detect real and sincere needs that can be resolved through the skills provided by the design tool.

The FDP by Marta Hernández, Periferias, is an editorial collection about the peripheral neighbourhoods of Barcelona. The project talks about historical memory, reflects on issues of identity, what we call "home" and explores and speculates on the term "neighbourhood" and its limits. Within the publication, you can find artistic projects related to the neighbours, as well as articles, reports and content created by and for the neighbourhood. The first issue of Periferias is about the Barcelona neighbourhood of El Carmel.
