Last November 7th, the TV3 program Amb filosofia (With Philosophy), featured Antoni Marí, professor and President of EINA’s Foundation, speaking on the concept of beauty.
“Poet Josef Brodsky said beauty is that where the eye rests”. But beauty is relative, subjective, conditioned by our education and cultural background. Thus, do we like things because they bare beauty or are such things beautiful because we like them? With the participation of professors and essayists Antoni Marí and Victoria Cirlot, cinema director Agnès Varda, political scientist Sami Naïr and violinist and writer Léonor de Récondo.”
