Thursday 13 July sees the opening of the "Under the Skin” exhibition, where visitors will be able to see a series of projects produced by students on the Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques, which invites the public to put themselves under the skin of the illustrator and search beneath the surface of things.
"The skin is the outer layer of a person, it unites us and it differentiates us from the rest, it covers us and it gives us an identity. It is the only organ that is in direct contact with the world and that gathers our history, which is recorded in the form of scars.

“Under the Skin” is the umbrella term for this group exhibition, which reflects the toughest part of the profession, the constant search, even though at times it isn’t the easiest thing to do and we emerge scathed.
Because as illustrators, we bear the scars."
Participating illustrators: Josefina Alvarez, Sebastian Becerra, Nuria de Bofarull, Karoline Buer, Margarita Díaz, Camila García, Josephine Geoghegan, Sergio González, Evelina Iatselenko, Daniela López Castaño, Francesc Estrada, Melissa Figueroa, Nayla Kaiser, Leonardo Lester, javiera Mac-lean, Eugenia Margarit, María Medem, Andressa Meissner, Andrés Naranjo, Diego Plaza, Laia Riol, Alba Sanjuán, Vale Wilson.
