Saturday 26 October saw the inauguration at Ca l'Arrenas, the art centre of the Museum of Mataró, of the season of exhibitions Art in Mataró, 1942-1958 the years of renewal, curated by Àlex Mitrani, teacher at EINA. This is a series of exhibitions that reconstruct the establishment of modern art in the postwar years. The project includes interventions by contemporary artists who offer a critical vision of the period. Currently showing are the exhibitions "Modernity in Difficult Times", Joan Brotat / Enric Planasdurà: primitivism and abstraction" and "Rafel G. Bianchi.
