Aigua de Vallcarca is a meditative walk-workshop, open to everyone, which will take place on Sunday 15 June at 10 a.m. in the Casal de Barri Can Carol (Carrer Cambrils, 24) in Barcelona.
The initiative, part of the Architecture Weeks, will be carried out in collaboration with Dr. Rafael de Balanzó, professor of the University Master's Degree in Research in Art and Design (MURAD) at Eina; Dr. Francesc Magrinyà and the Site Size collective, and will be facilitated by Resilience Thinking Initiatives.
This is a meditative walk-workshop that will begin at Can Carol, in the Vallcarca neighbourhood, and will take about two and a half hours to reach Collserola Park. Along the way, we will explore spaces linked to water from its ecological and symbolic dimensions, reflecting on resilience, the hydraulic memory of Vallcarca and the urban impact on the territory. Through questions, conversations and an attentive listening to the landscape, we will establish connections with the environment and the community, rethinking our relationship with water and the history of the place.
Aigua de Vallcarca is part of the project Resilient Routes and Workshops of the Waters of Collserola, developed within the Eina Porta de Collserola initiative in the framework of the collaboration between Eina and the Barcelona Architecture Capital 2026.
