On Tuesday 3 October, EINA observed the general strike called by Taula per la Democràcia, in rejection of the police violence in Catalonia on 1 October.
A participative and communal statement based on actions was drawn up throughout the day. Parallel to this, there was a participative uninterrupted reading of Franz Kafka’s "The Trial".
The purpose of these events, organised by the Students’ Union, teachers and Administration and Services Personnel (PAS), was to condemn the violence and infringement of basic rights on 1 October.
