The intention is that course participants end up acquiring all the resources, both theoretical and practical, to be self-employed when working serigraphy.
What are the tools and supports used? The course is designed primarily to work on paper, but also on textiles. All necessary workshop materials (paper, inks, screens ...) will be available for use by participants. All materials used are water based and are designed to later be used in small workshops or even allow home-base infrastructure, permitting that students can work in reduced spaces, without the need for much machinery.
Is this course rather theoretical or practical? It is considered to be theoretical and practical at the same time. There is a part of explanation at the beginning of each session and the rest is entirely practical. In this way participants acquire all the knowledge underlying the whole course and the technique of silkscreen.
What previous knowledge is required?
No prior knowledge on graphics, printing or screen printing is previously required.
