Raúl Oliva, teacher of Physics Applied to Design and Introduction to the Project on the Bachelor's Degree in Design, will be offering an intensive workshop throughout the third week in January to first-year students at the Escola Superior de Design. Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave (IPCA) in Barcelos, District of Braga (Portugal).

The aim of the SIM (slower is More) workshop is to begin a positive relationship of exchange of knowledge with the intention of its being ongoing in the future, promoted directly by teachers at both schools. The collaboration is the result of the hard work that the two schools are doing in aspects of teaching innovation as part of a global continuous growth strategy in teaching quality.

The collaboration will begin with the open lecture Designing Without Limits: Creativity Applied to Physics, about the importance of taking on the technical aspects of design right from the start of the project with an eminently creative mentality, and he will explain the teaching methodology that he has been using in this subject at EINA for the last eight years.

With the same approach as that of the Physics Applied to Design subject at the EINA Open Doors Day, students will put into practice their completed and manufactured designs in a public arena with huge local media relevance. Anything could happen!
