Enric Font

Licentiate in Fine arts ar Universitat de Barcelona and Master of Fine Arts at San Francisco Art Institute, specialised in Painting; PhD at UB with a thesis on the transversal interference and globalization of popular visual culture in contemporary painting


He is associate professor in the Design Grade in Eina; he teaches Didactics of Visual Arts in the Faculty of Education (UB) and Painting and Colour in the Arts Grades of Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

He is currently developing part of his interests through painting in public space, where he is acting as artist, researcher and curator. He is involved, since 2018, in a Tandem Project between the Fundació Arranz-Bravo and Escola La Carpa in l’Hospitalet, to develop the drawing contents to teach Visual and Art Education in Primary School.

He is a member of the research group DHIGECS (Didáctica de la Historia, la Geografía, y otras Ciencias Sociales, UB) and INDAGUE (Asociación Española de Investigadores y Difusores de Graffiti y Arte Urbano).

Professional activity

After a long career of studio painter showing his paintings in the circuit of galleries and art centres, in the year 2014 he completely changed his perspective of the art world when he started doing painting interventions in public space; he participates at events like BetArt Calvià 2014, Barcelona Openwalls Conference 2015 or Murs Plastic Manresa 2016, and paints murals in different public and private spaces.

He was curator in the 2016 edition of BetArt Calvià, with the project Mart2023.
