
Teaching / Research
She is responsible for the Text School at the La Capella Art Center, and has collaborated with several academic institutions, such as the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona, the Institut del Teatre, the Escola Massana, ESDI, Metàfora and IDEC, among others. She has also given classes and talks at numerous artistic centers and platforms.
In her curatorial projects she has worked on various themes, such as the history of the gaze and its relationship with the evolution of technological devices; the experience of time and the policies that regulate it; the status of the artistic image in the hypervisual society and dissident artistic manifestations with respect to the oculocentrist tradition; sleep and rest time in the paradigm of 24/7 productivity and consumption; or the use of text and orality in the visual arts, as well as the spaces of intersection between artistic practice and literature, among other issues.
She has formalized some of this research in unconventional curatorial formats, such as performative conferences, video essays, podcasts, and expanded writing projects.
She he has written numerous texts for artistic and cultural publications.
Professional activity
She is an independent curator. Some of the exhibitions she has curated in recent years are Ordre i desordre del món. Col·lecció d'Art Banc Sabadell i Museu d'Art de Sabadell (Sabadell Art Museum), Història de les mans (Diputación de Barcelona, with the collaboration of the MNAC), Antibiografia (produced by the Centro de Arte Maristany and currently on tour in different art centers of Catalonia), Observació dels forats negres (Roca Umbert, Granollers), the 12th Leandro Cristóbal Biennial (La Panera, Lleida), together with Celia del Diego and Soledad Gutiérrez, the performance program La màquina, l'amor i Marcel Proust (Feria Swab), Una certa foscor (Caixaforum), and the exhibition cycle La possibilitat d'una illa (Fundación Joan Miró). She has also curated artistic projects in the public space, such as the installation Oracle, by Lurdes Basolí, in the framework of the Panorámico festival, or two editions of the Barcelona Gallery Weekend Composicions program, together with Glòria Picazo.
Since 2015, she has explored the possibility of introducing performativity and storytelling into the same curatorial practice, and within the framework of this line of work she has developed performative conferences, such as An intellectual history of the clock (Nordiska Konstförbundet, Stockholm), How to observe a nocturnal sky (Collective, Edinburgh), or Darrere els ulls, davant l’esquena (Festival Salmon, Barcelona), which have been presented in different art centers, festivals and theaters in Europe; the audiovisual trials Todas las pantallas oscuras and No hay camino, co realized with Albert Alcoz (Soy Cámara, CCCB); the podcasts Òcul (Festival SCAN, Tarragona),Tantes nits sense dormir (Centro de Arte Santa Mónica), This exhibition is invisible (Index Foundation, Estoclomo), and together with other curators, artists and researchers, the collective project of podcasts and interventions artistic Quasi veu (Network of Art Centers of Catalonia). She is also the author of the extended writing works in Treaty on Coffee and Sleep.
