Pamela Calero presents "Social Media Will Tear Us Apart"

Pamela Calero, former student of the Postgraduate Diploma in Photography and Editorial Design and the Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques at EINA, presents her illustrated and handwritten book Social Media Will Tear Us Apart.

It is a work with a series of questions for those who reflect on the way we use mobile technologies today, or for anyone who does not see anything strange about the way we interact with this "perpetual" connection between our hands.

Pamela Calero has written and illustrated this simple but profound book, to rethink how things can be done with more intention. This fresh, full-color, hand-written book reviews how contemporary life allows us to connect in different ways, using visual thinking to understand and articulating thoughts and feelings with humor to question the paradoxes of contemporary time management.

Pamela Calero developed this project after realizing that many of her drawings and sketches were related to the way people interact with their technological and social tools. To what extent does this distance-defying connection separate us from ourselves?
