Exhibition Capsules from lockdown: art and pandemic in Catalonia

Jo Milne, Manel Esclusa and Gino Rubert, EINA teachers, are taking part in the exhibition Capsules from lockdown: art and pandemic in Catalonia, which is being held at the Can Framis Museum until 24 January.

This collective project, which brings together the work of 100 artists, reflects the experience of confinement from a wide range of voices, registers and perspectives, and is the result of the virtual project Capsules of confinement developed by the Fundació Vila Casas during the three months that its museums were closed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Contagi contingent, III is the piece made with mixed technique on vegetable paper that Jo Milne, professor of the Design Degree, is exhibiting, and which has emerged from the collaboration she is doing as an artist in residence at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine of Barcelona (IRB Barcelona).

For his part, Manel Esclusa, professor of the Design Degree and coordinator of the Postgraduate Diploma in Photography and Editorial Design, contributes to the exhibition with the photograph L'hora bruixa I and Gino Rubert, professor of the Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques, participates with the mixed technique work on canvas True Love.
