The ArtsLibris Barcelona 2022 Fair, one of the most important international artist's book fairs in the world, will count with the participation of EINA Edit. This will mark the debut of EINA Edit, a project dedicated to the production of limited artist's editions developed and printed at the EINA Bosc Print Workshop.
At the ArtsLibris Fair, which will take place from 10 to 12 June at the Espai Fossat del Mercat de Sant Antoni, at the EINA Edit stand you will find the inaugural prints developed by Andreu Bàlius, professor of typography at EINA, and the artist Regina Gimenez.
Jo Milne, artist, researcher and teacher at EINA, will give the workshop 'Colourful Accordion Tales' on Saturday 11th at 6 pm, which is open to visitors to the fair and is suitable for all ages (you only need to bring curiosity and enthusiasm). To participate in this workshop, registration is required at coordinacio@artslibris.cat.
'Colourful Accordion Tales' is a workshop to delve into the world of printing and book-binding, through the production of a small accordion book. A type of book made of multiple folds where both sides of the paper can be used to create different stories. During the workshop we will explain how to fold the paper and glue the covers to create the book and explore through experimentation with different stamps and stamps, how to generate new stories. Where molecular structures and color will be the transmitters of new cosmic tales.
