
She holds a PhD in Art History from the University of Valencia and a Master's degree in Heritage Management from the same university. She has been awarded an extraordinary degree and has enjoyed a postgraduate scholarship from the Generalitat Valenciana. She has given numerous workshops and courses on Exhibition Management, Curatorship, movable heritage management and collection management.
She has worked as a Heritage technician in different museums and institutions such as the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM), Valencia; Patio Herreriano Museum of Contemporary Art, Valladolid; Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA) and the National Museum of Art of Catalonia (MNAC), Barcelona, where she is currently Head of the Department of Registration and Collection Management.
Teaching / Research
She has been a teacher at the University of Valencia, Jaume I University, and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), where he has taught subjects in the Degree in Art History, Degree in Tourism and Degree in Design at these universities. He was part of the Teaching and Research Staff, within the DISVA working group, at the Jaume I University.
She has participated as a teacher in the Official University Master's Degree in Heritage Management at the Pompeu Fabra University and in the Official Master's Degree in Analysis and Management of Artistic Heritage at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, as well as in postgraduate courses at the School of Art and Design of Tortosa.
Her doctoral thesis focused on Abstract Painting in the Franco era and his current research focuses on Painting and Visual Arts of the 20th and 21st centuries and, in particular, Contemporary Painting and Visual Arts from the 1930s to the present, as well as Video-Art and Design arts.
She has also taught in the Postgraduate Programme in Ephemeral Architecture, Performing Arts and Scenic Concepts at the Polytechnic Foundation of Catalonia from 2003 to 2007, in the Master's Degree in the Creation of Exhibition Projects, Curatorship and Editing at EINA in 2007, in the Master's Degree in Heritage at the UdG in 2018, and in the Official Master's Degree in Analysis and Management of Artistic Heritage at the UAB at the MNAC in 2018 and 2019.
She has given lectures at different conferences, such as the International Conference Museum Storage. ICOM. Sorbonne Nouvelle, 2024.
Professional experience
She is currently head of the Department of Registration and Collection Management at the National Museum of Art of Catalonia, where she began in 2006 as a Heritage Technician assigned to the Department of Temporary Exhibitions.
Previously, she served as a Heritage Technician at the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM), Valencia; the Patio Herreriano Museum of Contemporary Art, Valladolid and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA).
In parallel, since 2022, she has been a member of the Editorial Board of the Revista de Cataluña, where she is responsible for the Arts Section and is also an independent Curator of various artistic movements and artists, with special emphasis on more recent art.
