Aida Mestres

Graduated in Art History from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2002), specialising in contemporary art. She has completed a Master's degree in Cultural Management from the University of Barcelona (2014), and a postgraduate degree in Intervention and Restoration of Architectural Heritage from the Escola Elisava (2004). She has additional training in the field of mediation (Course on Dynamic Agents, Experimentamos con el Arte, 2018) and the production of artistic projects (Course on Exhibition Assembly Processes, A-Desk, 2021).

Teaching / Research

She joins Eina as a professor in 2025, teaching the subject of Itinerancies in the Master's Degree in Exhibitions, Curatorship and Design.

Professional Experience

She has worked as a cultural management professional since 2002, focusing on contemporary art exhibitions. She has managed, produced, designed and mediated content.

She is currently the exhibition coordinator for the art.santcugat Programme and the coordinator for the Travelling Exhibitions Programme of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya. In parallel, she develops exhibition design and production projects for other venues and exhibition centres through the Gestió Cultural services company.
