Ambush #9: Jorge Satorre

einaidea and La Papelería convene a practical workshop with the artist Jorge Satorre from 13 – 17 November 2023 in Madrid, as part of the Ambushes program. The workshop will consist of the production of a group-based work, stemming from the guidelines that the artist will propose after a process of exploration and spatial speculation in La Papelería, a place characterized by hosting radical artistic interventions in situ.

With the help of a blacksmith and taking this collaboration as a starting point, the work will be carried out in a small group responding to the architectural particularities of the exhibition space. The process will develop by establishing a parallelism between the hidden parts of La Papelería and the entrails of a human body, giving rise to a series of intensive drawing and site-specific construction exercises.
