Emerging from the Pauline Fondevila’s research process into the residual, the marginal or furtive as generative places of knowledge, the Ambush #10 launches a process of fabulation, collective construction and programming of events and nocturnal learning. Taking Bosc's environment as its setting, The school of the night proposes the physical and mental construction of a counter-school fuelled by the references, fantasies and ghosts of the participants, who become its builders, programmers, students and architects in the period of a week.
The workshop addresses dichotomies between the latent and the explicit, the ephemeral and the indelible, sleep and social activity cycles, leading to a pedagogical infrastructure that will also be an imaginary and tangible refuge, where the group participants will become programme creators, directors and teachers. Explorations of lunar, alien, paranormal and interspecies imaginaries unleash a process of spatial fabrication through drawing, painting, lighting and ephemeral construction.
