María de la Cámara and Gabriel Paré Lezcano have been working since the mid-1990s in the development of applied arts within the field of space. With backgrounds in visual arts, theatre, and architecture, they graduated from ESAD with a specialization in scenography and lighting. Their work stands out for its ongoing research into space, light, and the objects that inhabit it, with a transgressive approach that places them at the limits of paratheatricality. The perceptual fusion between space and light is at the core of their work.

They teach in master’s and postgraduate programs at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Escola Elisava in Barcelona, ESAD, and Escola Universitària Bau.
