Teaching

Lecturer at EINA (UAB) in the subject of Industrial Transformation Processes.

He also teaches as director and professor of the Online Master's Degree in Product Design at LABASAD. Teacher of the subject of projects at IED. Coaching of multidisciplinary projects in the CBI Fusion Project, a course financed by the European fund and given by the universities Esade, UPC and IED. Linked to CERN's Idea Square.

Professional experience

In 2003 he worked as an intern at André Ricard's studio.

For a long period of time he worked and collaborated with different companies and professionals linked to the world of design.

Finally, in 2011 he created his own design studio Jordi Pla Studio.

The creation of the studio marks the beginning of a new professional stage in which he has created a wide variety of designs focused on different market sectors such as: furniture, lighting, urban furniture, home furnishings, accessories, packaging, as well as experimental and introspective projects.

The studio offers its services to both national and international clients such as KDLN, WMF, Vacheron Constantin, Baccarat, Normann Copenhagen, Breinco, Sellex, Remy Martin, Milan Lighting, Establecimiento Callataÿ, Lékué, Suck Uk, Karlsson, Escofet 1886, Antonio Puig, Mit Legend, Guggenheim Bilbao.
