Ester Comenge

Ester Comenge (1975, Lleida) has a degree in Fine Arts from the Sant Jordi Faculty in Barcelona and has over two decades of experience in the design and audiovisual sector. In 2010, she founded the Burzon*Comenge Studio with Albert Burzon, where she leads the direction and coordination of audiovisual projects, immersive installations and restitution of digital heritage.

Comenge is known for putting technology at the service of culture and heritage, creating emotional experiences and developing innovative solutions for museums, cultural institutions and companies. Through digital transformation, it provides a creative perspective that enriches content strategies and connects with the public through technology.

At an academic level, Ester Comenge has a solid background that includes specializations in areas of technology and design such as 4D Cinema and Video Mapping. She has also trained in the Specialization Course in Digital Strategy for Museums and Cultural Organizations at the UOC and keeps her skills up to date with ongoing training.

Teaching

Since 2010, she has combined her work at Estudi Burzon*Comenge with teaching Graphic Design Projects at the La Gaspar School of Art and Design in Igualada, where she holds the position of Deputy Director in the Management Team. She also teaches at UNED on the course Advanced Technologies for the Dissemination and Enhancement of Cultural Heritage, teaching the Mapping module.

Awards

The work of the Burzon*Comenge Studio has been recognised with numerous awards, including the Museum and the Web Award, the Igualada City Design Award, the LAUS Gold Award, the Junceda Illustration Award, the Hispania Nuestra Award and several Gold A'Design Award Competitions. It has also been awarded the eWoman Award.
