Performance Design

Performative Design, as its name suggests, is a subject that pays attention to the performative aspect of design practice, an aspect that reverberates both in the design process and in the communication of the project, and, of course, in its final use. To think about design from its performative dimension is to reflect on the experience of these designs, the narrative and discourses that unfold there, and finally the aesthetic and political relations that appear there.

This performative gaze operates both in editorial, digital, product, object, and space design since the experience in design is intrinsically linked to the way we relate to things, to the world. Thus, in this subject we will speculate on the role of performativity in this practice to assess its possibilities.
