‘Murals for Peace' competition

Pil Anna Tesdorpf, student of the Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques, has won the 2nd prize in the 'Murals for Peace' competition organised by Justícia i Pau as part of the 2nd edition of the Week for Peace - Arcadi Oliveres, with the work 'Together we create peace'.

Pil Anna Tesdorpf, who uses the artistic name PILAT, is a Danish illustrator who works with vibrant colours and striking shapes, with themes around feminism, urban life and cycling.

In relation to her graphic proposal, exhibited in the Diagonal metro station (line 3), she says: "For me the metro represents peace. It is a meeting point for people of different ages, religions, nationalities, appearances and origins. A place where people meet all the time, consciously or unconsciously. They coexist in peace and respect. And this is, in my opinion, something that deserves to be honoured".
