ACPA Studio is an interdisciplinary studio founded in Barcelona in 2007 that develops landscaping, urban planning, and architecture projects on a wide spectrum of scales ranging from regional planning to garden design. ACPA has carried out projects and consulting work for both public and private Spanish and international clients.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) (1999) and a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University – Graduate School of Design (2005).

Professional experience
Since 2007 she has operated her own landscaping and architecture studio where she develops projects in all their phases along with competitions in landscaping, urban planning, and architecture, both nationally and internationally. In 2014, she jointly presented the Urban Canopy proposal for the Glòries Park with Agence Ter, which earned first prize. Since then she has coordinated and co-directed the development of the project, which is still ongoing. At the same time, she has combined this leadership with the development of other projects such as the two fully accessible Children’s Play Areas, the Comte Borrell Green Area in Barcelona, the Salvador Allende Park (all with Agence Ter), as well as Botafoc Park in El Vendrell.
Ana Coello has also been an external consultant for UN habitat (August 2011-2014).

FERNANDO LUA (ACPA + AGENCE TER)
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the IUAV University of Venice (2005) and a European Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from EMU (2008).
Professional experience
Since 2017, he has been part of the ACPA and Agence Ter teams, through which he has participated in various international competitions and public space projects (Green Areas of Barcelona, Sant Feliu, Future of Infrastructure, etc.). He is currently responsible for the Plaça de Les Glòries project in Barcelona. With Agence Ter Shanghai, he has participated in several restricted competitions for the reclassification of various cities in China (Bon Nord, Dongguan, Pingshan, Chengdu, Kunming, and Hefei). He has lectured at various universities (Padua, Milan, Venice, Barcelona), made numerous guided visits to Les Glòries with universities (Chicago, Pennsylvania, Beijing, Marseille, Lyon, Versailles, Barcelona, etc.), and led events (Landscape Biennial, ENHR Congress). Since 2021, he has continued his training through courses, seminars, and study trips on Naturalistic Planting Design.
ANNA MALLÉN VIVÓ
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) (2010) and a Master's Degree in Landscape from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) (2013).
Professional experience
She has been a landscape architect since 2021 at ACPA - Ana Coello Paisatge i Arquitectura and Agence Ter, participating in various international competitions and public space projects (Plaza de les Gloríes in Barcelona, Green Areas in Barcelona, Fully Accessible Children’s Play Areas in Barcelona, Future of AMB Metropolitan Infrastructure, and more).

Professional experience
She has been a landscape architect since 2018 at Agence Ter and ACPA - Ana Coello Paisatge i Arquitectura, where she works on designing and developing public spaces and landscaping projects, both nationally and internationally. Together with Agence Ter, she has developed projects in the United States (Detroit), China (Shanghai, Pingshan, Chengdu), France (Les Sables d’Olonne, Perpignan), and with Agence Ter + ACPA, she has developed projects in Spain (Catalonia, Valencia, Mallorca, Madrid).
