Graduate in Graphic Design from the Escola d'Art i Disseny de Olot. He has trained in audiovisual production at IDEP Barcelona, and in photography at ERAM - Universitat de Girona, FUGA, El Observatorio and CASA Madrid, as well as in different workshops and seminars.
Teaching
Lecturer at various schools and universities, he teaches the Photography Creation Laboratory for the Bachelor of Design at Eina; the subject of Image Generation with AI, for the Degree in Photography and Audiovisual Creation at IDEP - Universitat Abad Oliva CEU; and the Production and Thinking Workshop on Language and AI, on the Master's Degree in Photographic Creation and New Audiovisual Formats at ESCAC.
He is also director and teacher of the Laboratory on Images, Language and AI ‘Jugar Contra la Máquina’, taught jointly with Martín Bollati on the educational platform Ensambles.org.
Professional experience
Photographer, artist and teacher. He uses photography as a tool to think about the photographic medium itself and its relationship to language. His interests revolve around the agency of images today, the ideological structure of the technology through which these images operate, and the implications of their centrality in our lives.
He has exhibited his work in venues such as the Sala Amárica in Gasteiz, the Bòlit Centre d'Art Contemporani in Girona, or the Sala Cava de Can Basté in Barcelona; and in exhibitions such as Las Nuits Paris, Festival Panorámico, OFF Bratislava, Festival Internacional La Nuu, Imaginaria Festival, FineArt Igualada, or Festival Transfronterizo Fotolimo, among others.
He has been recognised with the Plat(t)form nomination of the Fotomuseum Winterthur, with the Art Photo BCN Festival award, or with the Fòrum Fotogràfic Can Basté award, among others.
