
PhD in Feminist and Gender Studies from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Cum Laude distinction. MA in Gender, Media and Culture from Goldsmiths University (London) and BA in Philosophy from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She is a researcher in contemporary aesthetics, archive, temporal politics and feminisms and co-creator of the cultural and artistic production collective Ontologías Feministas specialising in visual and digital culture with a feminist perspective.
Teaching
Associate Professor at Eina in the subject of History of Art and Modern Design, pre-doctoral contract lecturer and researcher at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in the degrees of History of Art and Philosophy in the subjects of aesthetics, and guest lecturer in the Master's Degree in Architectural Communication, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and in the Master's Degree in History of Art and Visual Culture, Universidad Complutense, Universidad Autónoma and MNCARS, Madrid.
Professional experience / Research
As an academic researcher she has participated in conferences, symposia and written in different publications, both indexed journals and books. She has been hired as an FPU pre-doctoral fellow (2018-2023) and has been able to carry out her doctoral research on queer temporalities and sex-dissident archives in their interrelation with contemporary aesthetics.
As a cultural researcher she has curated conferences on contemporary aesthetics at La Pulpería (Buenos Aires, 2022), Sala Amadís (2018), given workshops at La Fundació Miró (Barcelona, 2023) and Matadero (Madrid, 2022) and presented her research both in performative conferences and in other formats at La Capella (Barcelona, 2024), MNCARS (Madrid, 2023), Storm and Drunk (Madrid, CAAM (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 2018) as well as writing for publications of different art centre exhibitions.
As Ontologías Feministas, she has collaborated in workshops with different museums and art centres such as MNCARS (Madrid 2022), BornLab (Barcelona, 2022), Conde Duque (Madrid, 2021), TEA (Tenerife, 2021), La Casa Encendida (Madrid 2020), Fabra i Coats (Barcelona 2020), Matadero Madrid (Madrid 2020), Hangar (Barcelona, 2019), giving performative lectures and presenting his research at CCCB (Barcelona 2023), Tabakalera (Donosti 2022, 2023), Sala Beckett (2021), Centro Cultural Kirchner (Buenos Aires 2020), and programmed workshops at Neomujedar (Madrid 2019) and Sala de Arte Joven de la Comunidad de Madrid (2020) among others.
