Cristina Calderón holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (UB).
As a visual artist, she focuses on situated practice, territorial memory, and the construction of visual metaphors through multimedia experimentation.
As an educator, she draws on a critical, ecofeminist, and relational pedagogy that understands art as a tool for research, world observation, and collective action. She contributes to the development of educational materials for the Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia, as well as to teacher training in the STEAM and digital culture fields. She is a teacher at the Institut Obert de Catalunya (IOC) and Deputy Coordinator of the Artistic Foundations subject in the PAU (university entrance exams).

Course focused on exploring artistic practice and critical thinking through situated methodologies. It involves guiding creative processes that stem from contextual observation, independent research, and the symbolic construction of images, actions, and personal narratives.
