Students of EINA awarded in the A'Design Award & Competition

A’Design Award & Competition is the world's largest design competition that awards the best designs and design concepts, products and services.

Köllen Design, the group of students and alumni of EINA Bachelor’s Degree in Design formed by Oriol Campillo, Núria Jané, Adrián Soldado and Paula Terra, have won a Silver A'Design Award in the "Furniture Design" category with the Köllen Eget project.

In these awards, Paula Terra's Final Design Degree Project, Dröp, simplifies diabetes, has also won the "Runner-Up for A'Design Award. Honorable Mention" in the category "Scientific Instrument, Medical Devices and Equipment Design".

Köllen Eget, which EINA presented to Ventura Future 2018 within the framework of the "Isolo" project and which has been awarded in the Jordi Amat Wooden Design Competition, is a workspace adapted to new working habits and to the use of new technologies. The interactivity of the product allows to reorganize the space and generate a personalized environment, adapting to each user thanks to the lighting, acoustics and the presence of different mobile elements.

Dröp, simplifies diabetes is a set of three products (a wearable, a mobile application and an insulin injector) that allows to manage this disease in a simple, pleasant and close to the user as it reduces and optimizes both the procedures and devices needed to follow a proper treatment.

The A'Design Award & Competition will take place on 28 June at the Teatre Sociale de Tremezzo Sightseeing on Lake Como (Italy). The award-winning products will be part of an exhibition that can be visited from 10 June to 31 July at the Ex-Chiesa di San Francesco (Viale Lorenzo Spallino, 1) in Como.
