Paula Terra, finalist in the C-IDEA Design Awards 2019-2020

In this edition of the C-IDEA Design Award, 1,783 entries from 37 countries were received. 100 of these projects have been selected for the final phase.

The selection criteria were "the international perspective and multiple transversal thinking and the potential for the future development of design and its commercial value".

Dröp, Simplifying Diabetes is a set of three products (a wearable, a mobile application and an insulin injector) that allows the management of this disease in a simple, pleasant and close to the user as it reduces and optimizes both procedures and devices needed to follow a proper treatment.

Paula Terra's TFG has also been awarded the following prizes:

• Runner-Up for A’Design Award. Honorable mention. Scientific Instruments, Medical Devices and Research Equipment Design (2019).
• Platinum in Industrial and Life Science Design/Medical/Scientific Machinery. European Product Design Awards (2019).
